China Glaze Make A Spectacle

Make A Spectacle was my only pick from the China Glaze Wicked collection...though I may snag one or two of the others still, if I get the chance.

Let's face it, there's a LOT of glitter out there. Not that it's a bad thing, but they kinda blur together in my mind. Make A Spectacle really stands out among other glitters.

over Finger Paints Black Expressionism
It's an iridescent mix of small hexagons, smaller circles, and tiny flecks.

It applied nicely and wasn't too thick or lumpy.  The glitter and flecks shift between yellow, green, blue and orange and I spent an embarrassing amount of time just sorta waving my hand around watching them change colors.  I think we've all been there many times.

NYC Matte Me Crazy made me love it all over again!

When you mattify something that shifts colors, you can catch it in the act more easily.

It's also easier to catch it at its extremes...look how blue!!

I was gonna try it over a variety of colors, but...that didn't happen.  I did use it for an accent nail over Wet n Wild Venomous Vixen...

I've seen it layered over Immortal (also from the Wicked collection), which is where I got the idea for this pairing.  The gray really makes the glitter stand out nicely!

So...um....happy even later Halloween!  Next week?  Holiday collections!  I kinda hate that I heard xmas music in a commercial on Hulu today...but the holiday polishes help make up for that!  So much sparkle and red and gold and...is spring here yet so I can stop loving everything???
