Because Sometimes I'm Lazy

Every manicure isn't all fabulousness and technique. Sometimes, I just throw on a regular color and add some glitter...I get lazy. It happens to the best of us, I suppose. Generally, I don't post all of my lazy manicures. This one, however, I actually ended up liking.

Let my nails right now be a cautionary tale. Moisturizer is your friend. I have been painting too often, and not lotioning up like I should...and combined with my propensity to pick at things...I've all but ruined my index finger. Looks like I need to go re-read my own advice here. I see a serious manicure in my future.

These Street Art glitters look fantabulous with a matte top coat. They almost shouldn't be worn without. I used my NYC matte top coat here, and I really like it. It's not as ubermatte as the Butter London, but it behaves a little better.

woohoo, matte!

  1. I really love this manicure and I think it's great for those of us who are not that great at doing nail art! It reminds me of mermaids and the ocean. Great job!

    1. I can definitely see the mermaid thing. I love glitter like this because it makes it look like there was more effort involved than there actually was!
