Coastal Scents Revealed 2...and a Surprise

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered...and especially to those who came up with some neat crime fighting duos!

Last week, Coastal Scents ran a special on the new Revealed 2 palette: 50% off!! I finally caved, and bought some stuff from them. I am not sorry. I grabbed some brushes, the original Revealed palette, and the Revealed 2. There was some hauling. Oh yes.

This is definitely taking a run at the Naked 3. I'll have to do a proper, in depth comparison at some point. What I like about this is that it takes that rosy, feminine feel that N3 has...and goes further. It has some deeper burgundy shades (in matte!) that I really like. Some of the nude shades don't show up so great on my skin, but that's ok. I generally like the skin-colored shades as bases anyway.

I found these all to be wonderfully blendable and pigmented. I did a quick swatching, over UDPP, with just my fingers...and I was happy. I'm not a master makeup-er, but these definitely blend so softly together that I felt much more skilled than I actually am.

Here is my face! I decided to try out the mauvey-burgundy shades, because those can go so wrong so easily. These are perfect. They make me happy. I can't wait to try the shimmers next.

Now, for the surprise! Because I got such a crazy bargain, I picked up a second palette...and I'm giving it away! It's kinda fitting: a Revealed 2 for our 2nd birthday! Because there is no polish involved here, I've decided to let this one be open internationally...on the condition that the winner pays for the overseas shipping. (I'm on a crazy-tight budget. Preschool is expensive!) I always feel badly that people elsewhere get the short end of the stick when it comes to freebies, and hopefully this won't bother folks. So enter, as much as you can, and good luck!
