Feeling Retro

I have been slacking a lot lately when it comes to nail art. It's hard to feel inspired, especially this time of year. My kids are out of school (and at each others throat half the time) and we are trying to keep busy. But for some reason, when I threw on these color to test out the Smoky top coat, I had a flash of inspiration.

Colors Used

Sally Hansen Insta Dri Brisk Blue

Sally Hansen Insta Dri Lightening
Sally Hansen Insta Dri Speedy Sunburst
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Grass Slipper

This definitely reminds me of an old table cloth or napkin set. If I was handier with a brush, I'd have drawn cherries complete with stems. Because I am impatient and shaky-handed, we are stuck with ambiguous fruits. I'm still pretty happy with this...especially that blue. It's so vivid!

    1. I think mine did too. Hell, I think I had tin pencil box that matched...

  2. I had a pair of rubber rain boots.....galoshes, if you will....in this pattern! I wore them with a yellow rain hat and a pink Rainbow Brite raincoat. Matching was apparently not my forte but, Mom was all about letting me pick my own clothes lol This is super freakin' cute...I might attempt to recreate it at some point, if that's okay with you!
