Wicked Winnings Wednesday Week Three

[Congratulations to our second Wicked Winner, Olivia G!  -Amanda]

You guys. GUISE. I have been waiting for my turn at the rafflecopter! But stupid shipping and real life kept getting in the way. But finally, everything is in place for this Halloweentacular offering!

First is Bang, a glaringly bright pumpkin orange with the tiniest hint of gold shimmer. It applies smooth as ectoplasm and covers the nail in three thin coats. I normally can't wear oranges, but this one was really flattering on me. It makes me consider trying the lipstick of the same name.

Next up is Zodiac, a metallic ghoulish green with flecks of antique gold. It reminds me a lot of Addiction, if the colors were reversed. This one is decently opaque at two coats, though people with longer nails will want three. It isn't as dreamy as Bang, but the finish is far more stunning. I am definitely not disappointed here.

You may have guessed by now that there are two prizes this week. Bang and Zodiac are perfect for the Halloween season, and I am so happy that I can share them with a lucky winner. The actual prizes one lucky reader will be receiving are two pristine, unused bottles. (I only opened them to check that they were intact.)

Enter away! And...because I like to torture you, there are some entries in there for those brave enough to answer a question in the comments! (pretend I am laughing and wearing a cape here. It makes it sound cooler.)

Good luck!

  1. My first Halloween costume was a clown, which I now fear/hate, but my first costume I remember was as a flower ballerina. That was my ballerina stuff from dance class plus a bonnet that makes your face look like the center of a flower. My mom kept offering to buy me a costume but I refused lol.

  2. I think (it's been a while now) my first costume was Princess Leia. I remember my mom working up a weird hair bun/earmuff hybrid thingy. It kept my ears warm--Halloweens were cold where I grew up! :)

  3. I never dressed up for Halloween because my mom would not let my sister and I celebrate it.

  4. My first costume that I remember was a Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtle. Donatello actually. My mom made it for me in Kindergarten or 1st grade. I have no recollection before that.

  7. My first Halloween costume was as a Pink Power Ranger, though it's possible it was actually Cinderella first? (My childhood is kind of a blur :( )

  10. The first Halloween costume I remember was being a smurf but from pictures I was first a clown and then witch. But god I remember my mom taking the time to make me all blue with a yellow yarn wig so I could be Smurfette.

  12. I don't remember exactly what my first Halloween costume was but I'm going to say a bumble bee or lady bug. Because those baby costumes are A-DOR-ABLE!

  13. I honestly don't know - I know there were repeat years of hippie and gypsy, but no pics of any of my early halloween costumes. my FAVORITE costume was the year my best friend and I, obsessed with Grease (yes, when it first came out. I'm old. that's why there are no pictures!), went together as Danny and Sandy. I had to be Danny because she cried and cried and wouldn't go if she couldn't be Sandy. it was still awesome, though! my mom had to wash my hair many, many times to get out all of the vaseline we used to slick it back. ah, good times...

  14. Haha, the first I remember I must have been around four. I was a flower, but all girls had to be flowers at that day-care! >.<
