Abstractifying Multichromes and Holos

I am falling in love with these quickie manicures. They look really neat, they can be done when you've had five cups of coffee, and they don't look rushed. They are also a great way to use all the holos you might have sitting out on your desk...what? You guys think I actually put my toys away?

I recently swatched the Love Duo for Baroness X, and since it was all a bit last-minute (not that I had anything else to do) she included a few other polishes (which I promise to swatch and post on their own because they are beautiful) as a thank-you. Because I am a lazybones and never put things away, they sat out on my desk for a few days...taunting me with their shiny goodness.

Then my macro lens arrived. And I knew what I had to do. Plus I was still obsessing over my Seriocure from the other day. How can you possibly go wrong with that style and jewel tones?

I'm still shaking out the bolts on my macro lens. It took me a good fifteen minutes to figure out how to attach that bastard to my camera. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them!

  1. Hubba hubba, I love the matte look! Right now, I have a ton of polishes sitting out because I need another melmer and I have nowhere to put them. So they sit out and taunt me. LOL

    1. I desperately need another helmer...but I need to arrange the wee folks room first to make room in *my* room.

If you have polishes laying out...put them to good use! You never know what you'll end up with.
