Gradient and Stamping. Because One Technique isn't Enough.

I had this epic idea: a chaotic stamp design fading out across my nail. It didn't quite work out like that, but I'm pretty happy nonetheless. I think, for my current nail length, these more random stamps are better. You can't see where I had to go back over as easily. I definitely need more practice with this stamping business.

little bit of tip wear...but hey, this is day 5

For this manicure, I used my good old Sally Hansen Double Duty and a thick coat of Sally Hansen InstaDri (in the red bottle). I then got sick-to-death for a week. (Possible food sensitivities FTL) I kept this on for 7 days...and no chips. At all. I was amazed. Sure, it was a bit duller than it had been...but a fresh coat of topcoat would have fixed that. It's been years since I've worn the same thing for longer than 4 days, and I have forgotten what a workhorse Double Duty is. If you haven't already, I highly recommend grabbing some. It's only $2.99 at Ulta.
